Francesca's Birthday Party

We're having francesca's birthday party right now. It's a dragon party of course. What else is there for Francesca? They're making little treasure boxes and necklaces now and eating Bagel Bites and chicken nuggets for lunch. One of moms friends came and put egg white powder in it. It stiffened it up a lot and it was much easier to handle. We frosted it, then put those fruit shaped gummy things with the sour powder on them in a row down his back and tail for spines. We put gumdrops in front of his feet for claws and split a marshmallow in half and put the halves on his head, then stuck a chocolate chip, flat side up, in each one for eyes. For a finishing touch, we used these amazing chocolate rocks. They were like M&M's, but looked exactly like rocks. Everyone who saw the cake really thought they were real until we told them and proved it by eating one. :-)
Now the kids are searching for dragons around the house. It's really cute. I'm sitting on the couch waiting until they devour my dragon. I want to cut it. :-)

  2. Dear Anastasia,

I loved hearing about the cake...did you take a picture? I also loved all the dragon pictures - how did you get them to stand still to take their pictures?

    Love you!
